The Bishop signed the construction contract with our General contractor today (June 30) and the renovation can now proceed!!!

In compliance with the Diocese of Knoxville’s Safe Environment Program, prior to working and/or volunteering in a parish, all must complete the Diocese prescribed Safe Environment Program.

The repair of the belltower finally completed in June. The final cost was just under $34,000. The next phase of the repair following the collapse of the outside wall of the belltower is to repair the church's slate roof which was heavily damaged by the collapse. The roof repairs should begin and complete in July at a cost of just under $100,000. Our property insurance covers half of that cost.

During the Christmas season this year–from December 25 through January 9–we will sing a different setting of the Gloria, the Sanctus (Holy, holy, holy), and the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God). All are English versions of the Latin setting known as Missa de Angelis–the Mass of the Angels.
