What is Fidelis?
Fidelis Sisterhood is a Catholic apostolate uniting women across generations to mentor and form girls to become disciples of Christ, fostering growth in virtue through the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and faith-filled friendship.
Our mission is to form girls - heart, mind, body, and soul - into a sisterhood of mature, virtuous disciples of Christ through the witness of Catholic women.
Together, we form girls—grades 6 through 12 and women of all ages—into virtuous disciples of Christ through weekly gatherings, authentic relationships, retreats, and joyful Catholic witness.
With brave hearts we teach what it means to truly be a daughter of Christ, to stand up for your faith in everyday life and learn how to live out true Catholic femininity. By providing young ladies with the tools, support, and a realistic way to encounter God in everything you do and all you meet, we are preparing the next generation of women to live out their vocations.
Every woman is called to love Christ. Whether it be as a mother, a religious sister, or a consecrated lay person, Fidelis is a family full of women who are authentically Catholic and ready with open hearts to welcome you into our sisterhood.
At the heart of Fidelis Sisterhood is mentorship: Catholic women walk alongside the girls, forming them through their example and lived experience of virtue. Through prayer, formation, discussion, and community, Fidelis Sisterhood creates a space where girls are seen, known, and challenged to become all that God has created them to be.
Who can join: All Catholic ladies in 6th grade and older, especially young women, and mothers.
When/Where we meet: Most Wednesday nights at 6:15pm during faith formation classes at St. Joseph School.
