The repair of the belltower finally completed in June. The final cost was just under $34,000. The next phase of the repair following the collapse of the outside wall of the belltower is to repair the church's slate roof which was heavily damaged by the collapse. The roof repairs should begin and complete in July at a cost of just under $100,000. Our property insurance covers half of that cost.
